Case Notes
This case involves a 40-year-old female patient who underwent bilateral breast implant removal followed by a revision breast lift using the anchor technique. She had initially had breast implants and a lift placed by another surgeon and never stopped having pain. Eventually she sought a second opinion from board-certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Matthew Isakson after having constant pain and multiple infections associated with the left breast implant. The before-and-after photos, taken three months post-operation, demonstrate the physical changes resulting from the surgery. The pre-operative image shows visible signs of distress around the implant area, particularly on the left side. Her pain improved almost immediately! Post-operatively, there is a noticeable improvement in symmetry and contouring of the breasts. The anchor lift technique has allowed for reshaping and repositioning of the breast tissue, resulting in a more natural appearance. The surgical sites appear well-healed without evident signs of inflammation or complication. This outcome highlights the procedural steps taken to address both aesthetic concerns and medical necessity.
