Arm Lift #23772

Case Notes
This case involves a 52-year-old female patient who underwent a bilateral avulsion arm lift (brachioplasty) combined with circumferential arm liposuction. This procedure was part of a broader post-bariatric surgery treatment plan following a significant weight loss of 125 pounds. This advanced technique uses liposuction to help avoid injury to any crucial blood vessels, lymphatics or nerves in the arm and allows a shockingly rapid recovery! The before-and-after photos, taken three months post-operation, display the surgical outcome. In the pre-operative image, excess skin and adipose tissue are visible along the upper arms, typical in patients with major weight loss histories. Post-operatively, there is a noticeable reduction in the circumference of the arms. The skin appears smoother and more contoured, adhering more closely to the underlying musculature. This change is achieved while maintaining symmetry between both arms, highlighting the technical precision of the procedure. These results illustrate the physical changes that can be achieved through targeted surgical interventions in body contouring after significant weight loss.
