Case Notes
This case involves a 63-year-old female patient who underwent bilateral breast mastopexy with an anchor pattern incision combined with submuscular placement of high-profile, round, cohesive gel silicone implants. When she first came to see Dr. Isakson, she knew she had always wanted breast implants but wasn't sure if 63 was the right time. Having breastfed children she did have some sag (ptosis) and loss of volume that needed both a lift and an augmentation. The primary objective was to address breast ptosis while enhancing upper pole (cleavage) volume and shape. Four months post-operation, the images exhibit an elevation in the position of the breasts along with increased fullness particularly in the upper poles. The surgical approach has resulted in a more defined breast contour and symmetry. Notably, the scars from the anchor lift are visible but are typical at this stage of healing. This case highlights the changes achieved through precise surgical techniques tailored to patient-specific anatomical requirements. Note her preoperative shoulder drop that is not addressed by this procedure.
