Case Notes
This case involves a 42-year-old female who underwent bilateral breast lift (mastopexy) combined with augmentation, following the removal of previous implants. She had had breast implants before that were removed and she decided she wanted an improvement in volume and perkiness. She is an active athlete and loves CrossFit and did not want to have a prolonged recovery. The procedure utilized smooth round cohesive gel implants, specifically Natrelle Inspira SRLP 340cc with low plus profile, placed submuscularly. The breast lift was executed using an anchor technique. The post-operative photos taken six months after surgery show the breasts with enhanced shape and positioning. The implants have contributed to increased fullness particularly in the lower breast segments. Surgical scars are visible but typical for this type of procedure. The overall chest contour appears more balanced and symmetrical when compared to pre-operative images. This patient is personally proving that breast implants do not stop you from lifting heavy or being a strong athlete!
