Breast Augmentation #21769

This case involves a 29-year-old female who underwent bilateral breast augmentation. She told Dr. Isakson she loved the beach but never felt comfortable because swimsuits never fit her the way they were supposed to. She was concerned about breast implants and really did not want an overly-augmented look. After a long conversation with Dr. Isakson they decided low plus profile implants under the muscle, sized to her body would do the trick. The procedure utilized smooth round cohesive gel silicone implants, provided by Allergan. These were placed submuscularly through an inframammary fold (IMF) incision. At three months post-operative, the images exhibit the changes in breast contour and volume. The pre-operative photo shows the patient’s natural breast anatomy, characterized by smaller breast volume and typical skin tautness. Post-operatively, there is a noticeable enhancement in breast size and shape, achieving a fuller appearance while maintaining natural body proportions. The IMF incisions are positioned to minimize visible scarring. This case highlights the physical outcomes achievable with precise surgical techniques and quality implant materials. She finally feels comfortable in swimsuits and has several beach vacations planned already!!
