This was a challenging case! This 42 year old woman came to Dr. Isakson having had several plastic surgery interventions on her breasts. She is an active CrossFit enthusiast and felt that her aggressive chest workouts persistently pushed her implants off to the side of her chest. This happened twice before she found Dr. Isakson! After consultation with him, they decided to exchange her implants for highly cohesive silicone implants of a similar volume but different shape. To prevent them from falling off the side of her chest again, Dr. Isakson performed a "plane change," which is moving the implants from under the muscle to on top of the muscle. At the same time, he performed a breast lift to reshape her breasts and make them round and perky. The implants used were SCF 520. The post-operative results, observed at 3 months, show the adjustments made to the positioning and support of the breast tissue. The before photo displays initial breast aesthetics prior to the intervention. In comparison, the after photo illustrates changes in breast contour and elevation. This visual documentation highlights the surgical alterations aimed at modifying the existing implants and enhancing the structural support of the breasts through precise surgical techniques.
