Breast Implant Exchange #23767

This case involves a 53-year-old female patient who underwent a bilateral breast implant exchange, transitioning from Mentor 325cc implants to SRF 485cc full profile implants. The post-operative results were documented three months after the procedure. Observations from the before and after images indicate an increase in breast volume and a noticeable alteration in breast profile. The skin appears smooth, and the positioning of the implants contributes to an enhanced but natural contour. The surgical outcomes reflect changes in size and shape as intended by the selected technique and implant type. This patient really did NOT want a breast lift - a breast lift would have involved scars around her areolae and on her breasts, but would have allowed Dr. Isakson to control her nipple position and the symmetry of the bottom part of her breasts. Using a breast implant exchange alone (with capsule work and change in implant size and shape), an implant exchange alone has provided excellent symmetry of her cleavage, and she loves how she looks in clothes and swimsuits!!!
