Case Notes
This case involves a 37-year-old female who underwent a breast lift using the Wise pattern technique, commonly referred to as the anchor incision. The patient weighed 145 lbs at the time of the procedure having lost about 120 pounds with bariatric surgery, GLP1 agonists, and hard work! The post-operative images were taken two months following surgery. These photographs display the changes in breast position and shape subsequent to the surgical intervention. The before image shows more pronounced sagging and lower nipple positioning, while the after image reveals elevated breast positioning with nipples located higher on the chest wall with a perky but still natural shape. The surgical scars are visible along the inframammary fold and vertically from the bottom of the areola to the breast crease, which is typical for this type of incision. These have healed well and they tend to hide well even in revealing clothing. This shows a good change in nipple position and lower pole without a change in the upper pole - that would be accomplished with an implant but may result in an unnatural result that she did not want.
