Case Notes
This case involves a 32-year-old female patient who underwent a series of surgical procedures including an anchor technique breast lift, tummy tuck with muscle repair, umbilical transposition, and liposuction targeting the abdomen, flanks, waist, hips, and breasts. After three kids, this mom wanted to feel like a woman again. She was tired of extra skin and sagging breasts that she had to hitch up into her bras, and that bra roll next to the breast was also irritating. She saw Dr. Isakson in consultation and he suggested a bilateral breast lift (without implants since she DID NOT want to be bigger!), and a tummy tuck with liposuction. Both of her incisions were extended to remove extra skin further off to the side than would traditionally be included in a breast lift or a tummy tuck. The post-operative results observed at four months show a notable alteration in the contour of the treated areas. The breast lift has elevated and reshaped the breasts to a higher position on the chest wall. Additionally, the abdominal profile is visibly flatter and more toned following the tummy tuck and muscle repair. Liposuction has contributed to a more defined waistline and reduced volume around the flanks and hips. These changes are evident when comparing pre-operative and post-operative photographs.
