Case Notes
This case involves a 30-year-old female patient who underwent bilateral breast reduction using the anchor technique, complemented by lateral chest wall liposuction. The procedure aimed to reduce breast volume and address associated physical discomfort. At three months post-operation, the after photos indicate a reduction in breast size and a more proportionate breast contour relative to the patient's body frame. The surgical scars are visible along the inframammary fold and vertically from the areola to the breast crease, typical of the anchor technique. She wanted to remain reasonably sized and she thinks Dr. Isakson nailed it! Post-operative images also show reduced skin redundancy at the lateral chest wall, consistent with the targeted liposuction areas. She went from feeling her breasts were limiting her activity, ability to work and what clothes she could wear to being back in the saddle in just a few weeks! In addition to fixing her medical symptoms from large breasts (macromastia), her favorite part is the liposuction on the side.
