Case Notes
Case Description: This gallery entry features a 52-year-old female patient who underwent secondary abdominoplasty, following previous liposuction and BBL procedures and a mini tummy tuck. She was left with significant contour irregularities, persistent abdominal wall muscle weakness, and extra skin. She found Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Matthew Isakson and they discussed her options. Ultimately a "full" tummy tuck was recommended with muscle tightening (muscle plication) and trading skin for a scar. Observations from the before image reveal skin redundancy and irregular contours in the abdominal area. Post-procedure, the after image illustrates a more uniform abdominal contour with reduced skin laxity. What an athletic shape! Notable changes include a smoother abdominal profile and more defined waistline.
