Case Notes
Case Description: A 48-year-old patient underwent abdominoplasty with additional procedures including diastasis recti repair and umbilical transposition, complemented by targeted liposuction. After having two children, she was ready to get her tummy back. She was tired of extra skin and fat changing how clothes fit and making her uncomfortable at the beach. She found Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Matthew Isakson who recommended a tummy tuck to tighten her muscles, remove extra skin, and contour her curves. The pre-operative image displays significant abdominal distension and skin laxity, typical indicators for this type of surgical intervention. Post-operatively, at the three-month mark, there is a notable reduction in abdominal protrusion and improved contouring of the abdominal wall. Her belly button appears natural with a nearly imperceptible scar from normal conversation positions. The surgical scars are healing as expected at this stage. The repositioned navel aligns with the newly contoured abdominal profile. These changes are consistent with the goals of the performed procedures to address muscle separation and remove excess skin and fat. Check out her belly button!!
